Prof. (Dr.) Shruti Bedi is a distinguished legal scholar, an influential voice in constitutional law, and an academic leader shaping contemporary legal thought. As Professor of Law and Director at the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, she has been at the forefront of legal education, and policy discourse. She is also an International Fellow at the National Institute of Military Justice, Washington DC, a Visiting Professor at Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, and Director of the Centre for Constitution and Public Policy at UILS. Additionally, she serves as the Chief Editor of Forces Law review , the world''''s first global military law journal.
With an impressive portfolio of scholarship, Prof. Bedi has authored and edited ten books, including Indian Counter-Terrorism Law (Lexis Nexis, 2016) and Artificial Intelligence and Constitutionalism (oakbridge, 2024).
